The interiors are understated and fetching. Furnished with suede-backed chairs and hardwood floors, the restaurant serves a fantastic menu spanning from East to West, or enjoy barbecue lunches at the poolside restaurant, which then becomes an ambient bar by night. On the upper deck, there's a swanky Cigar Lounge and downstairs, you'll find a movie theatre and dance floor for plenty of evening excitement. Mosey on to the spa for a dip in the temperature-controlled pool or relaxing treatment - try the Arabian coffee scrub or orange and honey wrap.
Across The Oberoi's three floors, there are 22 well-polished cabins and suites. Decorated with soft, creamy tones, white couches, and pretty artworks, the rooms enjoy 24-hour butler service and speedy Wi-Fi. Scores of natural light is let in through large picture windows and the bathrooms are bright blue and lovely with a multi-pressure shower (and a deep tub in the suites). The suites also have a separate living room and some come with a private terrace, sun loungers and heated whirlpool.
The Oberoi sails from Aswan to Luxor (or vice versa) with numerous stops along the way, which you'll visit in luxury coaches. You'll discover 5000 years of Egyptian history while exploring the ancient villages along the Nile, taking in the grandiose of Egypt's finely-carved temples and statues that certainly have some stories to tell. On the opposite bank to Luxor, you'll also visit the Valley of the Kings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where King Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered.
Fill your sails, float down the world’s most majestic river and let the sights of Egypt come alive.
