The River Station

Set on a bluff above the Kazinga Channel, The River Station is the place to be in the Kyambura Wildlife Reserve. Guests hardly need to leave the lodge to have excellent wildlife-viewing (elephants parade past the breakfast table), but they must to experience the wonders of the Kyambura Game Reserve. The River Station features 11 beautifully appointed rooms with ensuite bathrooms and private plunge pools, offering guests exceptional comfort in the heart of the wilderness. Set in a newly designated low impact zone of the reserve, the privacy that this brings is exceptional, and the impact of human presence is minimal. The only other camp in this entire area is our very own sister property, Honey Bear. With in-house resident guides, guests can track chimpanzees in the dramatic Kyambura Gorge and watch elephants swim across the channel. The River Station offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in one of Uganda’s most scenic wildlife areas.
