
The main area of the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge also serves as the main area of the Safari Suites. Built of thatch and timber, the lodge rises seven levels, and gives the impression of a vast open-plan tree house. Meals for Safari Suites guests are served in the award-winning MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant. The lodge also houses a guest library, internet lounge , a private TV lounge and a curio shop. Guests can cool off in a two-tiered swimming pool.
There are two three-bedroom suites and four two-bedroom suites. All are en-suite and have a lounge with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a furnished patio and two three-quarter beds that can be converted to king-size beds. There is a sofa bed in the TV lounge for an extra person. Each Safari Suite has a 46-inch LCD TV screen with satellite TV, a courtesy counter with a minibar refrigerator, an iPod docking station and beverage facilities including a Nespresso machine.
There is an activity desk at the main lodge which will help guests to plan their activities. On-site activities include nature trails, bird hide sits and a Vulture Culture Experience. There is a spa for pampering and relaxation. Off-site activities include a guided tour of the Victoria Falls, canoeing on the Zambezi River, horseback safaris, sunset cruising, fishing and golf. Adrenalin activities include bungee jumping, white-water rafting, zip-lining, gorge swinging and more. A shuttle service to town is available.
