The fly camps consists of domed sleeping tents with PVC floors. Ablutions are two loos and two showers, with water sprinkling down from a canvas bucket. There is no dining tent, so meals are served out in the open (who doesn't enjoy a bush banquet?). Don't worry though – there is a tarpaulin in case of rain.
The tents are more than adequate for a comfortable night's sleep in the bush. Each is three metres wide by three metres long and 3.5 metres tall, so you're cocooned in roomy style. They're insect- and reptile-proof and have a flysheet in case of rain. Bedding is a bedroll on the ground with cosy sheets and blankets.
Learn the art of bush tracking with expert guides, meet local Masai tribesmen and walk in their footsteps, immersing yourself in their ancient nomadic culture. Masai morani (warriors) will join the group to give insight into traditional customs. Walking is done in the mornings, when the air is cool and the sounds of the bush are crisp and clear. You'll rest during the midday heat, then explore the areas around the camp and finish off with wonderful sundowners.
