The property

Helpful staff greet you at reception and show you to your own home-from-home apartment. All the apartments face the harbour, the city or Table Mountain, and have fully equipped kitchens and open-plan lounges and dining rooms that range in size from cosy to expansive. Decor and furniture are stylish and modern, with a healthy dose of home comforts, including aircon, TV, laundry facilities and dishwashers. There are five outdoor swimming pools and a state-of-the-art gym, and free wi-fi at reception.

The rooms

The apartments range in size (66m² to 172m²) and amount of accommodation (one to three rooms). Most apartments are equipped with state-of-the-art fittings and furnishings, plenty of cupboard space and comfortable king, queen or twin beds. Spacious en-suite bathrooms have showers, and some also have a bathtub. All rooms have their own private balconies – top-floor balconies have a 360-degree view. Check when booking as some apartments have a minimum-length stay period.

Activities

Cape Town's attractions could fill your itinerary for months. Don't overlook the dozens of interesting museums (start with District Six and a trip to Robben Island), theatres and art galleries close by. Numerous world-class restaurants and hip bars lie on your doorstep, or downtown (a five-minute taxi ride away). Summit Table Mountain by cable-car or on foot, explore Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Point and Boulders Beach (for the penguins), admire the views from Chapman's Peak, and head to the Winelands.
