



Set in the hillside above the shimmering Lombok Strait, Amankila has a fantastic bevy of dining options. They celebrate the conviviality of traditional family dining and meals are prepared with market- and garden-fresh ingredients. Located in a peaceful coconut grove overlooking the resort's largest pool, the Beach Club has a simple but satisfying menu, whilst The Terrace Bar is the perfect spot for afternoon tea or sunset cocktails, prepared with syrups made from the island's native flowers, fruits and spices.
Set on stilts amongst the treetops, the suites all enjoy spectacular views across the Lombok Strait. Modelled on traditional Balinese beach houses, many of them have private pools to lounge beside as well as al-fresco terraces. Inside, the suites are decorated with light, polished wood and cream tiles the keep the space bright and airy, as well as a large, four-poster bed. The bathrooms are spacious and soothing with huge stone tubs and double vanities.
Enjoy meandering walks along the beach below or get involved with one of the many watersports, from kayaking and paddleboarding to body surfing. Surf lessons are also available on request. The resort also has two outriggers for cruises along the Lombok Strait and expeditions to the the area's best snorkelling and dive sites. Big-game fishing is also big here, and there are plenty of opportunities for land-based adventures like horseback riding, cycling and trekking up Mount Agung, Bali's highest point.
