Property details

The property

Spacious and polished, the ANA Crowne Plaza puts service at the forefront. There is a variety of different dining choices on offer, including Cantonese-inspired dishes, local favourites whipped up in the open kitchen, and teppanyaki, which is prepared with high-quality beef, vegetables harvested in the mountains, and fresh seafood. From certain areas of the hotel, take in the view of the manicured garden, which emulates the serene atmosphere of Kenrokuen; in the warmer months, the terrace is an ideal spot to enjoy a drink.

The rooms

Filled with natural light that beams through the beautiful picture windows, the hotel's selection of rooms is functional yet comfortable. All are equipped with a TV, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, aircon, and a desk space, whilst the more deluxe options also enjoy a spacious sitting area. Artwork featuring florals and abstract landscapes add a splash of colour. The bathrooms are neat with a combined shower and tub, and there are sweet-smelling aromatherapy oils and eye masks on offer to use during your stay.

Activities

The hotel is close to a number of Kanazawa's highlights and the location is ideal for exploring: visit the ruins of beautiful Kanazawa Castle, where the famous Samurai Maeda family once lived, and ascend to the top of the watchtower for stunning views; take a stroll through the serene Kenrokuen Gardens; share in a performance by one of the city's Geishas; and visit the fascinating Myoryuji Temple, filled with hidden defenses. Then, why not switch things up entirely with a wander around the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art?
