About Andaz Delhi

A luxurious and exceedingly well-positioned oasis, sheltered from the madness of Delhi.
Located in Aerocity, just two miles away from the airport, you would be forgiven for thinking the Andaz would be drab or office-like... but that couldn't be more untrue. As Hyatt's 'hip luxury' child, you'll be surrounded by glossy architecture, beautiful, art-filled interiors and all the high-end comforts you could want. What's more, every single room is spacious and bright with seriously impressive soundproofing – in many, you can watch the planes take off in quick succession. The hotel has many on-site exploits to enjoy, but it's also well-placed to take in the sights of Old and New Delhi.

Property details

The property

Within its artfully-done walls, the Andaz has a handful of superb eateries and watering holes. Get your fill of Cantonese cuisine at the Hong Kong Club, tuck into fresh, locally-sourced dishes at the AnnaMaya Foodhall or enjoy pizzas by the all-woman team at Soul Pantry. One of India's very first gin bars, the Juniper Bar serves up mean mixes including the potent Delhi's Fire. At the spa, enjoy a handcrafted journey to wellness and relaxation, or head to the pool and relax surrounded by manicured gardens.

The rooms

All brightly-lit by large picture windows, the hotel has a collection of rooms, and suites, as well as some apartments in the residential section. Their honeyed hardwood floors and crisp white linens create a homely feel, and each has a unique artwork reflecting the drama of Delhi. The suites kick the luxury levels up a notch with the addition of a small sitting room or dining area, while the residences have fully-equipped kitchens. The en-suite bathrooms are open-plan and fitted with fine amenities.

Activities

Delhi is an uproarious collision of old and new, and it's well worth exploring a little of everything. Visit the iconic Qutb Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with incredible carvings, explore the remarkable Red Fort, stroll through the serene Lodi Garden or get your shopping fix at one of the city's many markets – from souvenirs to spices, you'll be spoiled for choice. When you're all walked-out, take a dip in the pool back at the Andaz or enjoy a pampering treatment at the spa.
