The resort is a vast, garden-laden labyrinth of modern and traditional architecture. At the centre is a beautiful rim-flow pool, surrounded by a wooden deck that's furnished with plenty of umbrellas and sun-loungers. Three restaurants offer a range of dining styles from casual to fine meals and romantic beach dinners. Alongside, there are two bars serving local brews and a colourful spectrum of cocktails. And if you fancy indulging, the Garden Spa also offers an impressive array of therapies and treatments.
Accommodation ranges from simple-luxury to positively plush. Individual villas are set within a Mauritian-inspired village and offer a full kitchenette, spacious living room and a terrace overlooking the gardens. Deluxe rooms have ocean views and feature suspended double beds for extra novelty! Superior rooms are extra large with private balconies, views of the sea, and direct pool access. Family rooms are all set along the beachfront; they are spacious with a large terrace. All have en-suite bathrooms with luxurious bathtubs and showers.
Paradisaical Mauritius, with its white beaches, azure waters, lush tropical forests, makes for an attractive beach escape. But its rich heritage, blending Indian, Asian, African and European cultures, gives it even greater depth. The resort offers a taste of local creole culture, with weekly Sega and dance performances. Exploring the island's flora and fauna is essential: check out Black River Gorges National Park, home to the island's remaining rain forest and exceptional endemic species like the Mauritian flying fox. SCUBA diving and snorkelling are a must for water-lovers and there are a range of boating activities on offer (motorised and non), all organised by the Resort's Boat House.
