The camp exudes an old-style safari ambience, with its hardwood floors, polished silver and sparkling crystal set against the backdrop of the open Mara Plains and their abundant wildlife. Enjoy Pan-African cuisine under the stars, attentive staff, super-comfortable seating areas and a pool you can do laps in.

Acccommodation comprises 18 suites set in two intimate camps that just beg to be used by honeymooners. The design combines classical safari elegance with traditional African style – picture beautiful antiques, wood-framed beds, leather chairs, leather trunks and framed maps, and your own personal butler. The suites also have an overhead fan, a lovely en-suite bathroom with twin hand basins and a private veranda for settling back to gaze at the riverine forest and the Mara plains.

See wildebeest, zebra, kongoni, topi, elephant, hippo, buffalo, giraffe, lion, cheetah, leopard, black rhino, Thomson's gazelle, hyaena, jackal and birds aplenty on walking safaris and day and night game drives. Go birding in the camp's riverine forest and Sabaringo Creek, with a guide. Follow the Mara Hippo Trail or the Oloololo Escarpment Trail, which leads to the top of the 500-metre escarpment, with panoramic views. Soar above the plains in a hot air balloon and visit a local Masai village.
