Canyon Roadhouse

Around every corner is something new to marvel at, at this museum-esque hotel. The bar is brimming with number plates and motoring paraphernalia, you dine among relics of a former heyday, restored Chevys and Fords that stand at attention while you gorge on your burger and chips. Expect wifi at reception, a swimming pool, fuel station, campsite and quiet courtyard.

Guest rooms at the Canyon Roadhouse are functional and convenient with aircon and tea and coffee making facilities; a place to rest your head after a long drive on the gravel roads of Namibia. There are 22 en suite rooms to choose from, including two family rooms.

The lodge offers an exquisite drive into the surrounding hills for sundowners overlooking the moonscape of southern Namibia, guided excursions to the Fish River Canyon, the largest canyon in Africa and intrepid overnight hikes through the canyon, which vary from three to four days.
