There's a large pool in the grounds - perfect for lounging by on a balmy day - and if you're after a little pampering, the on-site spa is known to be one of the most luxurious in the country. Nautical-themed Basses restaurant and bar are the perfect spots to unwind with a cocktail and a delicious dinner at the end of a busy day behind the binos.

The 'huts' really do go above and beyond in terms of guaranteeing an indulgent stay. Each of the 14 private pods boasts a climate-controlled interior, bedecked with everything you could need: comfy beds to fall into each night, large tubs to bathe in, satellite TVs, Bluetooth sound systems, minibars and WiFi. And if that sounds a bit much, leave all your gadgets indoors and plunge straight into your private pool.

Much like the property itself, the activities are outstanding.
