This little lodge is situated in the northern section of South Africa's Sabi Sand Reserves. Set on the edge of the unassuming Mabrak River, a hotspot for the surrounding wildlife, the camp is tucked beneath ancient ebony trees. It's an intimate, high-end retreat that provides all the creature comforts of home. Decor could be described as "safari chic", enhancing your sense of being immersed in the bush. Spend your days in a safari vehicle or on well-shod feet, tracking leopard, lion, elephant and rhino with an armed guide before relaxing beside your private plunge pool.

Don't be fooled by the rustic atmosphere in the communal areas; ultimate luxury and comfort is the defining factor at Dulini. The central area overlooks the river and the resident wildlife attracted by its waters. Spread out beneath the thatched roof are numerous spaces to relax, with deep sofas and chairs. The dining area is set up for either private or communal meals. Outside is a large veranda with welcoming furniture. Add a boma, library, fully equipped gym, walk-in cellar, gift shop and swimming pool, and you have the holiday of a lifetime.
Dulini's six luxury suites are set along the bank of the river with undisturbed views of the surrounding wilderness. Each has a personal, cottagey feel, with a large bed draped with a mosquito net, air-conditioning and minibar. The en-suite bathroom has indoor and outdoor showers and a deep, rimmed tub for evening soaks after a day in the wilderness. Outside there is a deck with comfy, cushioned wicker furniture and an inviting private plunge pool.
Game drives are the bread and butter of this camp, showcasing the incredible range of wildlife, big and small, that live here. You can also take a walking safari with an expertly trained armed guide for an unimpeded view of life on the ground. These bush walks have a slightly different focus, concentrating on animals missed on a game drive, such as birds, reptiles and insects. Watching the sunset with a bottle of champagne provides a moment of calm to reflect on the day’s excitement.
This is the original honeymoon heaven - think private picnics, bubbles on tap and all the little extras that will get your married life off to the very best start.
Dulini specialises in private dinners so make sure to keep a night free. Overlooking the river bed, under the stars, or in the wine cellar - they've got it all!
Your chances of seeing a sought-after leopard are high (very high, in fact) but be prepared share your sighting with a couple of other vehicles (not more than two, however).

A safari that surpasses every expectation awaits in this vast wilderness just west of the Kruger National Park.
