About Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh

World-class diving, superb sea views and attention to detail that can't be faulted.
With its alabaster-coloured turrets ensconced by spindly palms, the Four Seasons is like a sandcastle by the sea. As you might expect from a Four Seasons, nothing is done by halves. The gardens are filled with bubbling fountains, there is not one but four swimming pools, and there's even a funicular that runs from the lobby to the beach. They also understand that you'll likely want to spend as little time indoors as possible, and there are alfresco dining spots aplenty from Bedouin breakfasts on the beach to decks that just over the water. And that beach we spoke of? It's private and boasts a stunning house reef too!

Property details

The property

Amongst the gardens blooming with hibiscus and bougainvillea, you'll find the four pools: a secluded one with airy cabanas, a large, free-form pool with a swim-up bar, one purely for swimming laps, and another for the kids. When hunger strikes, enjoy classic and creative breakfasts on the terrace, surf and turf lunches at the naval-themed Reef Grill, or tasty Italian dishes served under the stars in summer and by the fireplace in winter. There are also atmospheric lounges to enjoy a cocktail or two and if you fancy a pamper, head to the spa for a massage once reserved for Egyptian royalty.

The rooms

The rooms are decorated with a soft hand with cream couches, pleasing decor, and floral curtains. All rooms and suites have spacious living rooms that open onto a balcony or terrace where you'll enjoy views of the Red Sea and, in some cases, a dip in the private pool. The suite bathrooms are marble-clad with double vanities and a jetted tub. The chalets have up to four rooms, and feature outdoor and indoor dining areas and a well-equipped kitchen.

Activities

Your first order of business will, no doubt, be snorkelling or diving the house reef, which is alive with turtles, rays and shoals of fish. You can even go on night dives when there's a full moon! There are also over 70 fantastic dive sites only a boat ride away, not to mention the shipwrecks that are scattered along the sea floor. Otherwise, make a 360° turn and enjoy camel rides in the desert, hikes through the Coloured Canyon or atop Mount Sinai, and shop till you drop in the souqs of Old Sharm.

The resort looks after families really well, and has plenty of child-centred activities, a teen hub, and the house reef, where the whole family can learn to dive safely.
Something to think about

Something to think about

The beach is definitely on the small side so grab your sunbeds early if you're planning a morning of laying on the sand.

Sharm El Sheikh

Clear waters, marine life to rival Finding Nemo, and a good dose of sun and sand too.
