Fundu Lagoon Camp

The main areas of Fundu Lagoon Camp have been built of wood with a thatched ceiling and raised platforms accentuating the picturesque beach views. The dining space is furnished with wicker chairs and private square tables for a bit of romance and there are a few sporadic lounging facilities both indoors and out. Weather permitting meals can take place down on the beach itself. A large and inviting swimming pool provides solace from the heat of the day and inspiring views of the beach.

There are three different levels of luxury at this camp, tented room, suites and luxury suites. The eighteen various accommodations are either down on the beach or slightly up a hill with breathtaking views and a light ocean breeze. All three levels come with large comfortable beds draped in a mosquito net, ceiling fans, a minibar stocked with your choice of beverage and an ensuite bathroom complete with hot running water. The main difference with the suites is size, with a large lounging space being added on and a private plunge swimming pool. Spend the day relaxing in the privacy of your private veranda overlooking a postcard perfect environment.

There is plenty to keep you busy at Fundu Lagoon Camp, from the exceptional diving on offer for both snorkelers and scuba divers alike. For a touch of culture, there are village walks and tours of the historic ruins. For the little more active there are kayak excursions into the mangroves and forest walks. Fishing trips and sunset cruises can add another dimension to a day's events. Finally for those looking to get away for a little peace and tranquility, the swimming pool recliners, beach loungers and the massage therapist is all you are going to need for a successful getaway.
