The property

The property is tastefully decorated with handmade wooden furniture and soft fabrics that capture the colours of the ocean, seamlessly blending in with the natural surroundings. Delicious meals can be enjoyed at Bembe, the al-fresco style restaurant overlooking the main pool and the ocean. Deck loungers and parasols are provided with towels. The spa offers two treatment rooms and the gym is fitted with the latest equipment. The lush courtyard blooms with frangipanis, bougainvillea, jasmine and tropical flowers.

Kisiwa On The Beach has 22 stunning villas with large open plan bedrooms and private verandas. The villas are tastefully decorated with white stone and hand made wooden furniture, giving them a natural laid back feel. The tall wooden framed windows provide expansive views of the sea. All the villas have four poster wooden king sized beds elegantly draped with mosquito nets and open onto their own private balcony.There is an in-villa refreshments corner, satellite television and separate showers.

Activities

Guests are likely to spend most of their time at the beach or the fresh water swimming pool. They can rent a bicycle, walk through the village and see how the local families live, or visit the nearby Seaweed Farming Centre. Watersports such as kite surfing, scuba diving, fishing trips and snorkeling can be arranged. Day excursions can be planned through the concierge desk and include Stone Town tours, spice farm tours, dolphin sightings excursions, and visits to Jozani Forest.
