The hotel’s secluded location and peaceful surroundings are echoed in the interiors, with their sleek décor peppered with Andean touches. The mud-brick buildings and clay tiles blend seamlessly with the natural backdrop, as does the locally-built outdoor pool carved from stone. The definition of indulgent, the 20 casitas (small bungalows) are dotted around the gardens and offer just the right dose of privacy, complete with awe-inspiring valley or garden views. Walking into your 120m2 personal haven (240m2 if you go for the Presidential casita!) you’ll find a King-size bed, fireplace, minibar, lounge, and a lavish marble bathroom with a bathtub, indoor shower, and outdoor shower with a view to kill. And that’s not all: there's also a private terrace with a heated plunge pool at each. Heavenly.

The Colca Canyon is your playground and Las Casitas’ enviable location offers plenty of opportunities for exploring it. Outdoor adventures include breathtaking walks and treks to the Andean condor lookout (a must see!), horseback riding through the valley, and trout fishing. Back at the hotel, get hands on with a cooking class or enjoy a picnic, and for the kids, there's a cool array of activities, including feeding baby alpacas (although grown-ups tend to like this one too...).
