Property details

The property

Leleshwa Mobile is your home away from home in the bush. The mess tent is a simple, open-sided structure, strewn with cosy rugs, traditional director's chairs and squashy beanbags. Breakfast and lunch are served under the canvas, whilst dinner is an alfresco affair, accompanied by twinkling lanterns and a roaring fire. Food is simple yet delicious with plenty of veggies supplied from the main camp. And don't miss out on the fresh bread, baked every day over the campfire.

The rooms

Accommodating a maximum of 8 guests, the four tents at Leleshwa Mobile are made from heavy duty canvas, with insect-proof door and window linings. Each tent is assembled from scratch every time the camp moves but comfort certainly isn't a second thought and inside, you'll find enormous beds draped in crisp linen, kilim rugs and fresh flowers. What's more, ensuite bathrooms have flushing loos, piping hot showers and small changing areas too.

Activities

Activities at Leleshwa focus on morning and afternoon game drives in the heart of the wildebeest herds of the Great Migration, and the expert guides guarantee to have you in the middle of the action every time. As the camp is exclusively yours, it's up to you when and where you game drive - embark on an all day drive and explore the hidden corners of the reserve, or stay in camp for the morning with a pair of binos and a cup of tea. The choice is yours!
