A stellar stalwart of Galapagos cruises with top-notch service & fantastic itineraries.
Around 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands are sprinkled across the Pacific Ocean creating a dreamscape of mist-enveloped volcanoes, surreal wildlife, and scenery that takes your breath away. Your journey through the Enchanted Isles will be perfectly complemented by the glinting white Yacht La Pinta. You'll quickly settle into the stylish suites and find a favourite spot on the observation deck, watching slick dolphins swimming alongside and listening for the distant splash of a whale. Property details

The property

La Pinta's interiors are spotless and immaculately designed with plenty of space to recline, take in the scenery and mull over the day's adventures. The library provides a cosy location to read up about the Galapagos and there's also a well-equipped fitness room and Jacuzzi to soak in. The dining room is decorated with round, linen-clad tables and elegant seats, and serves buffet-style daytime meals and a la carte dinners. If the weather is permitting, dine under the stars!

The rooms

The yacht can accommodate 48 passengers across 24 cabins, which are all decorated in neutral, soothing tones, bleached teak floors and vivid artworks. You won't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the view through the tall windows. Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom with individual air-con and quality amenities, as well as tea and coffee stations and personal safes. There are also four luxury cabins with a sitting area and sofa bed, which work well for families.

Activities

While your wildlife sightings will greatly depend on your itinerary, adventure and novel experiences are a guarantee. Head ashore via a glass-bottomed boat (spotting a menagerie of marine life along the way), and gaze at rare birds, wander alongside giant tortoises and navigate ancient lava flows. Venture underwater to see tropical fish, sea lion, Galápagos penguins (a real highlight) and plenty more. Then, discover the coastline on your own steam with a kayaking or paddle-boarding excursion, before laying on an untouched beach and soaking up the view.

Insiders Tip

La Pinta's itineraries vary from four nights to two weeks and what you see largely depends on the length and location. Choose a combination of islands for the most well-rounded experience.
Something to think about

Something to think about

The yacht is quite large compared to other vessels that operate in the Galapagos, so it may not feel as intimate.
