Property details

The property

The lodge embraces that relaxed, connection-focused atmosphere with spacious living areas anchored by a warm fireplace for cooler evenings. The indoor dining area provides a comfortable backup when weather doesn't cooperate, whilst the pool decks offer multiple vantage points for waterhole watching. The vibrant décor and natural materials create spaces that feel authentically African without being overwhelming, and the various communal areas ensure there's always somewhere for the family to gather or for individuals to find a quiet moment.

The rooms

The suite options cleverly cater to families of all configurations, from intimate couples' retreats to larger family accommodations with partitioned sleeping areas that give parents and children their own space. Each suite opens onto a private deck positioned to capture those waterhole views, whilst air-conditioning and ceiling fans ensure comfortable sleeping even during the warmest summer nights. The larger family suite is particularly well thought out, featuring two separate bedrooms and a spacious lounge that provides flexibility for different family dynamics. En-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and his-and-her basins add touches of luxury, whilst in-room coffee stations mean you can brew your morning cup and take it straight out to your deck for the day's first wildlife viewing session.

What you'll love

What you'll love

The sheer convenience of having wildlife viewing literally on your doorstep - the large waterhole in front of the lodge means you rarely need to venture far for spectacular sightings. Plus, those two swimming pools ensure there's always a cool refuge when the African sun gets too enthusiastic.
Insiders tip

Insiders Tip

The outdoor dining boma with its fireside meals creates the perfect setting for sharing the day's wildlife encounters whilst the stars emerge overhead. It's particularly magical for children who'll remember these evenings long after they've returned home.
Something to think about

Something to think about

The fenced perimeter, whilst excellent for child safety, does mean you're somewhat contained within the camp boundaries. However, the abundant wildlife activity at the waterhole means there's rarely a dull moment even without venturing beyond the fence.
