Property details

The property

Built in 2009, the camp has a light, contemporary, Afro-chic style. The main dining and social areas are housed under an open-sided, thatched sala; a white pebble floor and use of natural materials in the build completes the outside, inside effect. The campfire is a popular meeting point for pre-dinner drinks and exchanging of stories. There is an outdoor pool, with a child-friendly section, and kids will also love hanging out in the camp's Jungle Gym play area.

The rooms

The camp has recently been to extended to a total of 16 Meru-style tents, including 4 family units which can accommodate two children on a sleeper couch. The tents are well-spaced out and tucked away in the trees, so everyone can find their corner of t§he bush. Simply furnished with double or twin beds, and a bathroom area to the rear of the tent with a shower and flush loo. Deckchairs sit on the porch for afternoon reading or stargazing.

Activities

The focus is primarily on guided game drives, or self-drives, into Etosha National Park with its abundance of wildlife, usually found huddled around a few, well-known watering holes. If you do opt to self-drive, the camp's kitchen staff will happily make up a picnic lunch for you. Nature walks on the Mushara Reserve are also available. Or kick back, relax and enjoy the serenity of this special little bush camp.
