Property details

The property

The main guest area opens out onto a wide veranda with an infinity pool, and stunning sea views stretching all the way to the Cape Columbine Lighthouse. Inside is a comfortable lounge and bar with a vast fireplace where guests can meet for a drink before heading off to one of the excellent local restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfasts are served in the dining room next to the pool, or on your private patio if you prefer.

The rooms

Each of the four en-suite guest rooms has a unique feel, with a mix of old world charm and modern designer touches creating an air of understated luxury. All have comfortable lounge areas and private verandas or patios, and fabulous views of the ocean. Two downstairs rooms lead onto the surrounding beach dunes. Upstairs, one room has a private patio with lighthouse views, and a vast Honeymoon Suite under the eaves offers an even more spacious and decidedly romantic option.

Activities

Explore the hidden coves and fantastic rock formations of this coastal reserve, and look out for whales, dolphins and seals in the waves. The stunning turquoise waters of Langebaan Lagoon nearby are well worth a visit, and during spring, the entire coastal belt is a riot of colour when the spectacular wildflowers bloom. The fishing village of Paternoster nearby has some rather quirky local shops and art galleries, and is renowned for a number of delightful seafood restaurants.
