The property

The guest area has a modern feel, with a stylish restaurant opening out onto the central infinity pool deck overlooking the lush gardens. Comfortable lounges with a selection of reading materials, and an elegant indoor bar area offer plenty of places to relax. The two wellness pavilions, hidden away from the lodge in a tranquil spot, are linked to the main area via ribbons of wooden walkways. Facilities include a spa and gym with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.

The rooms

Eight vast private suites set within the semi-tropical gardens and dune forest offer absolute luxury, seclusion and relaxation. All are en-suite, with huge bathrooms and spacious living areas featuring works of African art from the owners’ extensive personal collection. Colourful Persian rugs add a touch of spice to the pleasingly understated designer interiors. Seven suites have private patios and plunge pools, with the aptly named Forest Suite tucked away within the indigenous forest creating the perfect romantic hideway.

Activities

This is your opportunity to unwind in beautiful surroundings - the emphasis here is very much one of relaxation, with yoga, meditation and spa treatments on offer in the privacy of the lodge. For more energetic options, the abundance of outdoor adventures nearby include hiking and exploring the long stretches of deserted beaches, surfing, golf, fishing and a variety of other sports. Guided tours to Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve just a ten-minute drive away can be easily arranged.
