About Radisson Collection Cape Town

Inches from the sea spray, this waterfront big-wig comes with an epic view of the Harbour.
On the very edge of Cape Town's sea front and overlooking idyllic Granger Bay Harbour (think sails floating in the breeze), the waterfront hotel certainly lives up to its name. Although Radisson Blu might be missing more of a personal touch, you couldn't get closer to the sea air while enjoying a taste of classic hospitality - and their staff makes sure there's plenty of that. There's oodles to do at the hotel too; let's just say the spa has an indoor vitality pool that won't let you down in the dreamy department. Lapping waves make the perfect soundtrack before a day of exploring Cape Town's biggest names including the likes of Table Mountain.

Property details

The property

Radisson Blu Waterfront is pretty impressive before you even get inside and it doesn't stop there. The hotel's pool area is beautifully designed for a relaxing interlude and the heated infinity pool is perfect for enjoying the view. If you don't fancy venturing out for a meal, Tobago's Bar & Restaurant has a selection of fantastic dishes (and cocktails) and you may even spot a pod of dolphins from the deck. Don't forget about the Amani Spa either - truly a little slice of tranquility.

The rooms

Take your pick from a variety of comfy rooms and suites, each with a very fitting nautical theme and minimalist design, making the rooms ultra spacious. Massive windows let the natural light in and well-chosen decor gives each room a pop of colour. You'll also find handy amenities like an in-room safe, plush bathrobes and speedy wi-fi. A selection of rooms also come with a balcony and little alcoves of privacy, giving them a lovely apartment feel.

Activities

Radisson is close to just about everything so think a meander to the iconic Long Street where sampling the city's famous cuisine is a must, or hop on over to the nearby Artscape Theatre for a show (with the help of the hotel's concierge service). Stop at the Two Oceans Aquarium where you can enjoy the marine life up close - anyone for a dive in the open ocean exhibit? Going for a spot of paragliding is one way to see the city and get those holiday snaps. For a different view, why not head out on a bicycle tour or hike up Signal Hill for a picnic?
