Sakila Sunrise Lodge

Opening in early 2020, the newly-minted Sakila Sunrise is an intimate boutique lodge in the Arusha area. The lodge is located on the slopes of Mount Meru, above Usa River and Momella Road. Its location bordering the forest reserve provides spectacular views unique to Sakila Sunrise. The owner's philosophy is to build sustainably. This includes using bamboo in construction as well as incorporating systems for energy and water collection, and recycling making Sakila Sunrise the first fully sustainable lodge in Tanzania. The open kitchen plan allows guests to interact with the chef; the honesty bar under the pool deck will be fully stocked. The covered Pavilion, a relaxing lounge, and the fire pit in the evenings are a great way to end the day after a visit to nearby Arusha National Park or walking safari with an expert guide in the adjacent reserve.
