


The elegant and bright main area consists of a library, bar, reception hall and restaurant, which leads onto a swimming pool. The restaurant comes with large bay windows from where you can admire the otherworldly views of the escarpment and feast on food inspired by Malagasy, Chinese, Creole and European influences. At night the open-air deck, which leads off from the bar, is perfect for a nightcap and some of the best stargazing on the planet! WIFI is available to all guests.
Satrana Lodge has 40 luxury two-to-four-person canvas tents, all artfully scattered among the unique sandstone formations of the terrain. This is tented accommodation at its most exotic and luxurious. Every tent is built on its own platform and completed with a thatched roof, wooden floor and a viewing deck. Decorated with Victorian flair from a bygone era, each tent comes with a king-sized bed, fine linen, rocking chairs, an en-suit bathroom, and indoor and outdoor hot showers.
With 340 faunal species (including lemurs) and 400 floral species found in Isalo National park, nature lovers are in for a treat .Hikers are spoilt for choice with a variety of guided park trails that traverse mountains, Tapia forests, sandy valleys and canyons. These range from a few hours to a week and may be customised to suit various fitness levels. En-route you'll find plenty of natural swimming pools in which to cool off. Guided Jeep rides are another adventure offered to guests.
