Property details

The property

The centre of the lodge exudes warmth that shows of some wonderful Kenyan inspired style and luxury. Smaller, cozy corners divide the bar, dining and lounge area with a large fireplace, the beauty of the surrounding bush completing the vista through a wall of glass windows. Dine outside on sunny day under the shade of the trees or under the stars, you well be well taken care of by the friendly and passionate staff.

The rooms

Modern and chic the five individually designed cottages are furnished with contemporary safari swank in mind. Floor to ceiling glass windows and sun verandahs optimise the views out over the plains and thorn trees towards the mountain beyond. There is a private lounge area, open fire palaces and plenty of eclectic natural furnishing to allow a light, open plan flow that allows for a feeling of lightness and brightness under comforting thatch roofing.

Activities

Between night and day game drives, nature walks, helicopter flips, fishing and horse riding think of Solio as your own intimate all inclusive safari experience. Spot leopard, lion, both black and white rhino in what can only be described as a wildlife sanctuary where these animals are given the safety and space to thrive. There is also a spa service that you can indulge in an in-room massage after a days game drive out in the bush.
