Villa Barranco’s two-storey colonial house is both stately and charming. Walking into the foyer, adorned with wooden details and featuring a beautiful staircase, you’ll feel like you’ve arrived at a friend's holiday home. The thoughtfully-curated collection of vintage furniture in every corner adds to the warmth, while the small but chic rooftop terrace and bar adds a contemporary touch and is the ideal place to wind down. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the beautiful dining room, or outdoors surrounded by leaves.
Almost every room at Villa Barranco offers an ocean view. Whether you choose the Deluxe, Junior or Master Suite, you’ll enjoy the house’s original high ceilings as well as an ample bathroom with rain shower, plenty of natural light, TV and AC. Each of the nine rooms has its own unique character and décor, with pops of colour courtesy of modern-style geometric tiles, throws or Persian rugs. Some suites have a private garden, while the second-level rooms come with their own balcony.
Barranco, rich in tradition and culture, is the ideal neighborhood to explore on foot. Foodies will find a plethora of delis, cafés and acclaimed restaurants and bars, while art enthusiasts can spend an entire day visiting nearby galleries, art boutiques and museums - the Contemporary Art Museum (MAC) and Pedro de Osma Museum are both within walking distance. The ocean is only a 15-minute walk following a route that will take you through the best of Barranco’s bohemian sights.
