Vreugde Guest Farm

Lush green gardens with plenty of old trees and colourful flowers sit at the centre of the guest house. Enjoy birdwatching from a lovely tucked-away corner of the garden. A swimming pool is accompanied by a shady thatch lapa and lively sun loungers. Meals are served outside in the garden or indoors in the dining room with its large communal table. Seven rooms make up the the guest farm. Four sit in pairs and are semi-detached with metal or thatched roofs. Three stand-alone bungalows all have metal rooftops, one of which is big enough to accommodate a family of four. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and sliding doors leading into the central gardens. They are cleanly and simply furnished, though a bit outdated. Stone floors and ceiling fans keep the rooms cool as there's no air-conditioning.
