



From the beach, steps lead to a large wooden deck with a sparkling pool surrounded by umbrella-shaded deck chairs. More stairs lead to a second pool deck, with bright picnic tables and an adjoining restaurant that serves simple yet tasty fare, like fish 'n chips and burgers. The real vibe is down at the beach bar, a thatched-roof platform just steps from the sand, where you can enjoy a game of pool or darts and a couple of cold ones.
Various concrete and reed houses set in the dunes provide comfortable accommodation for groups ranging from couples to eight people. The casas and double-storey villas each have one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a shared bathroom for the remaining rooms, and an outdoor shower. Some units offer en-suite bathrooms for all bedrooms. All have fully equipped kitchens with fridges and gas stoves, and are cleaned daily. Expect superb sea views, especially from the front porch, where there's a built-in barbecue.
This is the perfect beach for chilling and bathing in the calm rock pools, but the activities available are exciting, and incredibly tempting. Bring your snorkelling and fishing gear (or hire it) to take advantage of the excellent conditions for both. Book a canoe for a day, be courageous and try parasailing, kite-surfing or quad-biking in the area nearby. Stroll the sands, look for some of the 100+ bird species, or surf the break right in front of the lodge.
