What to do in Chefchaouen

Surrounded by the rolling foothills of the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is as blue as the skies above it - literally. Join a local guide for a stroll along the quaint, cobbled streets, all of which converge at the Plaza Uta el Hammam, the bustling heart of the medina. There's plenty to see (and purchase!) here including Berber textiles, handmade soaps and local produce like goat cheese and superb olive oil. Stick around after sunset and watch as the square fills with musicians - and the scent of tasty delicacies! Or leave this little city behind for a scenic hike, picnicking with a view of God's Bridge and swimming below the Cascades d'Akchour.
