What to do in Fernando de Noronha

Surrounded by a Marine National Park, the Fernando de Noronha archipelago is positively dreamy. Of course, lounging on one of its stunning beaches is a favourite activity among visitors, as is snorkelling or scuba diving in the pristine waters – visibility can exceed 50 metres. Look out for resident Spinner dolphins, whale sharks and five species of sea turtles (some of which nest on the beaches). The islands also have some fantastic surf breaks, whether you’re a beginner or a pro.
