What to do in Luderitz

As is the case with many Namibian towns, Luderitz holds a great deal of history, which you can discover on strolls past Germanic churches and pastel houses, and a stop at the museum. It’s also worth a meander down the coast to visit the Diaz Point Lighthouse, or hop aboard a catamaran to visit a colony of African penguins and spy pods of dolphins. Head inland a little to visit the eery Kolmanskop, an abandoned mining town that has been reclaimed by the Namib Desert.
