Set up Morocco excursion in span of just a few weeks. Solid riads choices and our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the cooking class!

Timbuktu is First Rate and we give credit to Megan Yash who coordinated the whole trip in the best way ever to give us the Trip of a Lifetime. Words cannot express our joy and appreciation to her and the people who helped to make our trip 100% enjoyable from the moment we stepped on the plane to when we landed back in San Diego. Every single detail was attended to, outlined and executed perfectly. We sing Megan's and Timbuktu's praises to all that will listen. We loved our hotels and they were fabulous with outstanding service, friendly and accommodating to our every need, and well located; our personal guides were fantastic, and well educated and informed about the country they represented and very interesting and went out of their way to ensure we had the Best time! The drivers were always timely, made us feel safe and cared for, always available and made meeting our destinations so enjoyable. Dining choices were extremely helpful and thankfully we never had a health issue or any challenges. We can hardly wait until the next opportunity to travel with Timbuktu and have Megan's assistance. Thank you!!

Kevin and Millie were the absolute best! They left no stone unturned, and they were so patient with my family. This was our first trip to South Africa, and I'm sure they felt we had a thousand questions. The trip they planned for us was truly beyond our wildest dreams. There was never a time when we felt confused or unprepared. Every detail was taken care of. Thanks again Kevin and Millie! Outstanding work.

Tessa with Timbuktu put together this whole wonderful African adventure for us. We have already and will in future be recommending her services to other travelers we know.

We could not recommend Timbuktu travel more. Meg was so patient with us, helping to give us ideas based on our interests and coming up with others when we weren't sure. She helped connect us to our local hosts when we decided to do last minute adventures. There was such a variety of activities available to us, that we truly felt like we could get both adventure and cultural activities. She also worked hard to give us her expertise on the area and recommending the best resorts within our budget. We look forward to utilizing them for future travel!

We had a wonderful experience with Timbuktu. We were planning a trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and spoke to the brilliant Millie Trotter who has created an amazing itinerary for us covering both Lamu and South Africa. Millie made it so easy for us and has found us some amazing looking places. We received VIP service and can’t wait to go. 5 stars!! 👏👏👏👏

Kevin that I worked with listened to what I wanted and presented a trip with the information I gave him. We had to tweak it a couple of times before we settled on the itinerary.

We had an absolutely amazing time! We could not have had a better experience. With some luck on our side, we were able to see a river crossing and the big five. Both amazing experiences! We also enjoyed an amazing balloon ride! Both places that we stayed offered different but equally great accommodations, which we were looking for. Every person was so welcoming and offered service beyond what we would ever expect. We also don’t know if it was luck or planned, but all our game drives ended up being private. This trip feels like it would have been impossible to put together without the help of Timbuktu or at the very least much more difficult and stressful. Overall we had a fantastic time and we would definitely recommend you guys to others looking to travel to Africa!

Well planned, and staff helpful.
