We just returned from a stunning 2 week trip in Namibia organized by Catherine. It was truly a dream; never before have things been so meticulously organized and prepared on any trip my wife or I have taken (and we've been to 50+ countries); the organization, not done by us for once, freed us from decision-making and logistics headaches to simply be present, enjoy each day, and be delighted by the experiences along the way. Each location we visited was fantastic and incredibly special, from the epic daily sunrises and sunsets, to the incredible wildlife, to the people we met, to the beautiful drives through ancient landscapes. Catherine's communication was great, and Timbuktu's local partner handled everything beautifully while we were there. Best trip we've ever taken. Highly recommend Namibia and Timbuktu!

Joanna helped me plan my journey across Africa, traversing from Cape Town to Kigali, then on to Volcanoes, Nairobi, and finally, the majestic Maasai Mara. This unforgettable experience was made possible by the exceptional services of Joanna at Timbuktu. From the outset, Joanna exhibited professionalism and tailored the trip precisely to my preferences and needs. Joanna was prompt and professional. Every query and request I had was met with an quick response. This level of attentiveness was not just reassuring but also vital in crafting a journey that felt both personal and well-organized. Perhaps the best example of Joanna's dedication came when I suffered an unexpected injury. She was a lifesaver, rescheduling the entire trip that went far beyond my expectations. The lodgings selected by Joanna were perfect. Each stay reflected a deep understanding of my tastes and comfort requirements. Moreover, the guides chosen for the various legs of my journey were all professionals. The trip was smooth from start to finish, with every detail meticulously thought through and arranged.

I would recommend them and would use their services again. They made the entire trip so easy. We had five different stays and three plane trips on our vacation and Timbuktu and especially Jenna made it so easy and seamless. They worked to provide a superior experience. The hotels and B&Bs were well chosen for excellent stays. The transfer and guides in Cape Town were very high quality. The lodge in Kruger was excellent. I was extremely pleased with the trip that they planned.

We had an amazing time, from Cape Town to safari in Timbavati, beaches of Mozambique, and capping off with a Gorilla trek! Every part went smoothly and we didn't have think much once we got on the ground, just be present and love each experience.

Carola was so helpful and responsive from planning all the way through the trip. We ended up needed quite a bit of help once we were actually on the trip, and she was an excellent resource.

We did have one glitch on our trip, which didn't start because of them, but it was a little tough to get through. We did solve the issue ourselves, and it didn't ruin our trip at all. We did end up losing a night at a nice game lodge though. Jeffi helped us plan our trip and understood well the style of travel we wanted.
