We had a great experience with Timbuktu. Everything on our trip went so smoothly. We felt very well taken care of and were happy to know each step of our trip was thought through for us. Kevin was fantastic to work with and always promptly answered our many questions. Will be using them again!

Our travel agency arranged our entire 12 days in Africa. Accommodation were amazing. We were met by lovely drivers at every stop. All expectations were met. It was a most amazing trip for our family.

We are so happy with Timbuktu. I wanted to reserve my review until after the trip and now that we have returned I can wholeheartedly recommend Timbuktu. We travelled to South Africa (Cape Town and Mala Mala Game Reserve near Kruger) and to Zambia/Zimbabwe to see Victoria Falls. All the accommodations, transfers, and tours went smoothly and were great! Joanna was great to work with.

Timbuktu was extremely helpful when planning out our honeymoon! It was really fun to plan out the trip and be able to get insight and suggestions on all the places we wanted to visit beforehand. They have incredibly responsive customer service, and they are so knowledgeable about all of their destinations. We couldn't have planned our once in a lifetime trip without them, and we'll definitely be using them for trips in the future!!! Thank you Jenna, Annie, and Nadine!

A world class experience. Was recommended to me from a friend and plan on passing along the recommendation to friends who are interested in a safari.

This is our second trip with Timbuktu. The web site is an excellent way to preview many possibilities and get excited about your trip. Everything worked out smoothly. The suggestion to get VIP service to facilitate a domestic flight transfer was especially helpful: who knew South Africa requires a second security screening when changing domestic flights different from other countries.

Thanks for the amazing experience!

Thank you Timbuktu, Tessa and Nathan. I was a bit hesitant having not worked with Timbuktu before but they were able to put together lodges, camps, flights and guides around the itenerary I dreamed up in my head. We had a group of 10 so it is not always easy to just slide into a room here and there. Tessa was very organized and communicated with me often as we worked out all the details. The providers they used to support safari were amazing…thank you Albatros!. I would not hesitate to book with them for another adventure. Again thank you for a wonderful trip and great experience.

Our contact Millie was great at keeping us up to date and helped to make our trip truly unforgettable.

We highly recommend working with Timbuktu travel when planning a trip. We were trying to coordinate our vacation with a business trip and they helped it all work seamlessly. The properties they recommended were perfectly located for our needs. All the places we stayed were comfortable, clean and safe. Our transfers went smoothly to and from airports/hotels. We’d like to make a special shout-out to Johanna for her kindness and knowledge. We hope to work with you again!
