Timbuktu did a wonderful job of putting together the perfect trip for my parents and my husband and me to Chile. It was a great mix of seeing some of the highlights of Chile from South to the North. With the hassle free transportation from A to B we were able to experience seeing penguins, hiking Patagonia, eating delicious food during a custom gastronomic experience and relaxing in the desert. As always, they did a fabulous job of listening to what we were hoping to discover and remaining within our budget. I can't rave enough about this company! If you want a custom tailored trip put together to see so many beautiful places in this world, don't think twice about using Timbuktu!

Tessa was fantastic, extremely responsive, did exactly what she promised, listened and worked through options if I wasn't sure. Her accommodation suggestions were spot on and nothing was ever too hard. My experience in the planning was replicated on the ground where the partners were also very good.

Our point of contact, Catherine, has been exceptional in understanding and meeting our requirements. We have had a number of changes to accommodate the requirements of our large tour party and these have managed and addressed in an exemplary manner. The group has also appreciated the detailed information on the venue and activities.

I have only booked my trip, however, the website and especially the customer service has been top tier. My planner Tessa Dancer has been absolutely phenomenal in helping me plan my dream trip. She gives suggestions and recommendations and assists me with solidifying things that I would never have thought of. She has been absolutely amazing in implementing my vision and has worked diligently as I have gone back and forth to make this the perfect trip. Thank you so much for all of your help and assistance. I would without reservation totally recommend Timbuktu!

Timbuktu were excellent. Our trip to Egypt was super well organised and went without a hitch! Prior to our departure, Tessa and Daniel at Timbuktu and their flight partners were very helpful and very quick to respond to any queries we had and assistance we needed. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking of travelling in Egypt.

This is my second trip with Timbuktu. The trip planner is so helpful in crafting a customized trip that offers just what I'm looking for. Jonty was great to work with. He's very responsive and welcomes my questions. I could have probably booked the trip on my own, but I am spoiled by the simplicity of booking with Timbuktu!
