We had a fantastic vacation. Jonty was able to hear our desires and make it work. He never made it feel that the timing was too tight or we were making poor decisions or we needed to expand out budget. The reservations that were made far exceeded my expectations and Jonty was there even Christmas day when I didn't have my flight information even though I just hadn't looked hard enough. This was one of my best trips to date and I have already referred a friend to contact Timbuktu.

This is our second trip with Timbuktu. The process of designing a trip is all part of the fun. I love getting suggestions, choosing between accommodation and working out together how it is possible to fit in everything we want to do. Pick ups, transfers, and guides are always the most professional. I highly recommend using Timbuktu. We have had to absolutely amazing holidays.

Catherine was amazing - she helped us create the perfect trip from start to finish, and we absolutely could not have done it without her. We are so grateful and are already booking another trip with her :)

Timbuktu and our agent, Kristin, Jessup, were amazing. This was our June 2020 trip and had to be rescheduled 4 different times. Kristin was there to answer all of our questions about our options in the planning phase as well as support us with all of the rescheduling. While on our vacation, we found the hotels and service to be great all along the way. Every one of our transfers/guides were there and we felt safe the entire time. When we met people along our journey, they were so impressed with our itinerary and asked who we used. We were touting Timbuktu's name as much as we could.

Catherine worked tirelessly to make sure we had the trip of our dreams--and we did! Our group of 12 had a flawless trip to South Africa and Botswana. Couldn't recommend Catherine and her team more!

Words cannot explain how Timbuktu Travel, especially Tessa Dancer has made our dream trip so seamless for us! Our trip to Namibia was a dream, from the start our trip where we met up with their local partner until the very end when we left, it was seamless and everything we talked about actually happened, albeit only one activity that we wanted to do did not happen since there was going to be thunderstorms that evening, which was a good call to cancel. Exploring around the norther half of Namibia was breathtaking and we fell in love with country. We will definitely visit it again!

We worked with Tessa from Timbuktu and she was so responsive and made the process of planning our honeymoon stress free. She always responded very quickly and was happy to answer any questions we had. The final brief for the honeymoon was so detailed we didn’t have any concerns with the travel. The whole trip was successful with no issues and I would recommend using Timbuktu for your next travel. Our trip was amazing!
