The suggestions on travel and accommodation based on our conversations were spot on. The holiday was designed around our wishes and needs and not just standard packages.

We have not gone on our trip yet, but Kat was really helpful and attentive to our needs and questions. We had a lot of back and forths in deciding where to go for our honeymoon but Kat remained professional, patient and responded very quickly to all our emails and queries. It was a really great and smooth experience booking this trip and we look forward to going on the trip.

Using Timbuktu was really helpful. Right away, we felt important, cared for and listened to. Thanks to Joanna, communication was super easy - She's a gem, genuinely kind, always responsive and had great advices to share. We did have a bit of a problem when we got to the Serengeti national park, but Joanna stayed available to talk about the issue and followed up as expected. Thank you for helping us realize our dream to visit Tanzania.

Our trip was amazing, in large part due to the customer service, both from Timbuktu as well as their on-the-ground partners in Namibia. We would definitely use Timbuktu again if we are travelling in one of the countries they operate in.

I was SO impressed with the service I received from Timbuktu, specifically Caitlin. She truly made our trip a once in a lifetime journey through the bush. The initial quote was out of my budget, but Caitlin managed to ask me the right questions to tailor the trip to our needs and our budget. This involved MANY emails back and forth, after which I expected her to lose her patience. Instead, she remained professional, attentive, and caring of our needs. The final itinerary was simply too good to pass up and what started as a simple enquiry out of curiosity led us to once of the best trips in our life. The camp was amazing, the staff working there were thoughtful and perceptive, and our guide was knowledgable and experienced. What more could you want?
