Fantastic service from Joanna at Timbuktu. She was very patient, full of suggestions and clearly knowledgeable about Tanzania. This is my first Safari and she has helped to design my ideal trip. She was mindful of my budget and made changes to suit this. I would not hesitate to recommend Timbuktu.

Joanna was truly amazing. So professional and so accommodating. She put together a great itinerary in a short time, when several other companies I had spoken to couldn't seem to provide what we were asking. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and really wonderful to work with.

Timbuktu did everything well from start to end. The ability to pick and choose the safari of your dreams with expert advice was fantastic. I loved being able to work with the travel specialist to figure out where to go and have tons of information on all the possible lodges. If you get Joanna as your travel specialist then you are in great hands. She quickly replied to any and all questions I had and came up with an amazing backup plan when our original plan was already booked. I think her backup plan was even better than our original plan. I plan on booking all future safaris through Timbuktu and would highly recommend it.
