What you'll do

Boat safaris in Busanga aren’t always guaranteed, even in the wettest early part of the season. However, if an opportunity to go boating presents itself, seize it with both hands and have your binos at the ready for the beautiful birdlife. At Shumba Camp, the aptly named "swamp boat" can travel through water just 15 centimetres deep, which should increase your chances of exploring the wetlands.
