Desert exploring experiences

The Salar of Atacama stretches as a vast expanse of salt as far as the eye can see. Bathed in a gentle sun-kissed breeze, the ever-changing sky paints a mesmerizing backdrop to one of Earth's most breathtaking landscapes. From here, your journey progresses to the remarkable Piedras Rojas. To reach this destination, your vehicle will ascend to an altitude of 3,800 meters. A roughly hour-long round-trip hike unveils these copper-hued rocks, the surrounding lagoons, and salt flats. This stunning vista owes its unique geological formations to the oxidizing iron, lending the rocks their distinct hue. Amidst this grandeur, you will pause to savour a delightful breakfast. Next, you'll explore the Altiplanic Lagoons: Miscanti and Meñiques. These crystalline water bodies, flanked by imposing massifs, offer a landscape like no other. The deep blue of the sky mirrors in the lagoons, contrasting brilliantly with the ochre mountain ranges and the golden hues of the surrounding vegetation.
