Eden Bleu epitomises architecture where the interior seamlessly meets the outdoors. The reception area, which is marked by dark timber finishes, leads onto lounges, restaurants and an outdoor space complete with rim pool, deck chairs and spectacular views of sea and mountain. Fine and casual dining is offered at one of three in-hotel restaurants and drinks are served at a slick wraparound bar. Three ballrooms are on offer for conferences and events.
There are six types of en-suite guest bedrooms to choose from, ranging from standard to the grand presidential suite, which includes a private dining room, lounge and kitchen. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV, air-conditioning, coffee station, WIFI and 24-hour room service. Bedrooms either overlook the hotel's tropical gardens or the marina, and the interior palette mimics these very views with splashes of blue, green and red. Rooms come with balconies and outdoor areas leading onto gardens.
A short taxi drive away, Victoria is the capital of the Seychelles and offers a surprising number of cultural attractions. Visit its food market, Hindu Temple and tea factory, before heading to one of many beaches that line Mahe's coast. The Seychelles boasts some of the best snorkelling in the world, so be sure to spend time in the water. Nearby islands such as Praslin and La Digue are ideal for hiking and cycling, while deep-sea fishing excursions are arranged from Eden Island.
