El Casco Art Hotel

Boasting the title of Argentina’s first Art hotel, El Casco features a classic style and sobre décor that let the artwork do all the talking. One of the greatest things about the hotel is that, regardless of which room you plump for, you’re guaranteed incredible lake views. All 33 hotel rooms come with a minibar, fine marble top bathrooms with plush bathrobes and, most importantly, plenty of art. If you’re looking for a bit of extra space, opt for the Nahuel corner or balcony studio with its separate seating area and added bathtub. And if you feel like going all out, the master suite throws in a hydromassage tub and even an extra bathroom.

A 15-minute drive will get you to an array of golf courses, the famous Cerro Catedral, or downtown Bariloche, so there’s plenty of activities to plan your days around. If you’re there during ski season, there’s a special concierge assistant for Cerro Catedral activities. Year-round, the friendly staff at reception are happy to help out with recommendations on where to go and what to do around the area, as well as boating or fishing excursions on the lake and renting a car or bike to explore at your leisure.
