The hotel design is inspired by traditional Patagonian estates, prioritising simple, clean lines that converse beautifully with the natural backdrop. Common areas feature large windows, perfect for revelling in the beauty of the landscapes outside, and a cosy library with big, comfy seats beckons for curling up with a good book. Three walls of windows in the elegant dining room double as virtual TV screens for the ever-transforming views, and the bar and cava offer a great spot for relaxing with a glass of local wine or cocktail after a day of sightseeing. In addition, there’s a sauna, interior garden, and endless trails snaking throughout the 10,000-acre property.
Eolo’s 17 rooms are styled so exquisitely that you could easily spend the entire day simply gazing at the breathtaking vistas from bed. Superior rooms look out over the valley to the mountains, whilst premium rooms have two windows – one looking out to the valley and another facing the charming interior gardens. Then there are the fabulous corner rooms, boasting double windows in the corner and providing an even more immersive experience (if you can believe it). All rooms feature Wi-Fi and central heating that can be individually calibrated to each room.
Those lucky enough to visit Eolo have an assortment of activities to choose from. Make sure to spend at least a day exploring all the onsite options that the hotel offers, from horseback riding, trekking and mountain biking to bird watching, 4WD outings, and ziplining. All can be arranged through the hotel's activity coordinator. In addition, the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier is only a 50 minute drive away, while the Upsala Glacier - the largest in the region - is only 30 minutes from the hotel.
