Designed by Isay Weinfeld and Márcio Kogan, Fasano São Paulo Jardins embodies the century-old dream of the Fasano family, who arrived from Milan in 1902 and built Brazil's most respected culinary empire. In fact, the hotel occupies the historic site of Gero Fasano’s flagship restaurant, its English-brick facade and 1930s flair setting a timeless tone. Inside, the 60 rooms feature intricate Venetian mirrors, Persian rugs, linen curtains, and stunning Murano glass vases, while downstairs, two acclaimed restaurants, Fasano and Nonno Ruggero, channel Italian culinary excellence - and it's all set in the leafy surroundings of the elegant Jardins neighbourhood of the city.

Fasano São Paulo is both contemporary and classic, sleek in terms of shapes and details, but cozy in atmosphere. The lower floor welcomes with a lobby bar, which is all travertine fireplaces and floors, hand-woven carpets and French leather club chairs, while the rooftop has a small, slender pool, sauna, and intimate spa tucked above the city spires. Downstairs, Nonno Ruggero serves informal Italian fare from a pretty terrace, while the iconic Fasano restaurant celebrates contemporary Italian cuisine.
The property has 60 rooms, divided into rooms and suites, and all have views of the Jardins neighbourhood. The decor is understated and elegant, with rich linens and Persian rugs, Venetian glass and textured frames that are a reflection of the Italian tradition and heritage. There are no unnecessary gadgets or over-the-top design statements either, just perfect proportions and incredibly comfortable beds.
On a quiet Jardins street, the Fasano is a doorway to the city’s refined side: walk to the smart boutiques along Oscar Freire, admire art at MASP or meander through Ibirapuera Park. The hotel’s concierge can also arrange gallery tours, theatre bookings, or spa and wellness rituals. Back at the hotel, the rooftop spa awaits, followed by cocktails in Baretto or dinner at the Michelin‑acclaimed Fasano restaurant.
The legendary Baretto bar. Ranked by Wallpaper magazine as the number one bar in the world, it has even been know to host world-class artists like Caetano Veloso, Jamie Cullum, and Chico Buarque, but...
...make sure to arrive early for the best seats in an intimate corner.
Fasano São Paulo is all sophisticated, grown-up luxury and the pace is very cultured - expect lots of white linens and thoughtful formality.
