Fregate Island Lodge

The central areas of the lodge are built into a hillside above the ocean and include a comfortable lounge, bar and dining areas. There's also a library and an exclusive boutique and gallery. There are two infinity swimming pools spilling over into waterfalls cascading down the rocks, a water sports centre and a huge spa and gym facility. The two a-la-carte restaurants on the island offer bespoke dining. Fruit and vegetables are supplied daily from the islands own plantation.

Seventeen elegant private villas are set among the tropical vegetation, all with incredible floor-to-ceiling views of the lush jungle and deep-blue seas. Expect complete privacy with four-poster beds, stylish sitting rooms, indoor and outdoor showers, a large infinity pool and Jacuzzi, and a terrace. Each villa has a large and a small bathroom (both with private outdoor showers), aircon, minibar, wi-fi and entertainment facilities. Paramount is Banyan Hill Estate, a fully staffed hilltop complex overlooking the harbour and beaches.

The Rock Spa on Fregate Island offers a range of treatments as well as an air-conditioned gym facility. Explore the island by hiking, or mountain biking or on beach island buggy trips. Other activities include star-gazing, turtle nesting and remote beach picnics. There are also a wide variety of water-sports to enjoy, including scuba diving to 'Chimney Rock', one of the world's most popular diving sites. Helicopter rides to other islands or golfing destinations can be arranged.
