Nestled amidst the tranquil everglades and lakes of Fayoum, the oldest city in Egypt, lies a hidden gem - the Helnan Auberge Hotel. A mere hour and a half's drive from bustling Cairo, this hotel is strategically located in the heart of Fayoum, offering a perfect blend of history and breathtaking natural beauty. Back in 1937, King Farouk himself commissioned the construction of this hunting and fishing lodge on the serene shores of Lake Qarun, envisioning it as a secluded sanctuary for him and his esteemed guests.
