Surrounded by sandy beaches, tropical gardens and crystal waters, the Hilton Northolme Resort & Spa is a secluded hideaway on the northwest coast of Mahe Island, and the setting for a stunning escape in the Seychelles. The smallest of all the Hilton properties with only 39 rooms, each of the exclusive villas is perched on stilts with views over the dazzling Beau Vallon Bay and magical Silhouette Island. Rumour has it that the stunning retreat was Ian Fleming's inspiration for Bond film 'For Your Eyes Only' - and if you fancy it, the Ian Fleming Suite is worth every last penny!

The Hilton Northolme caters for every taste (literally!) with three different ocean-side restaurants offering everything from light snacks to a la carte fine dining and traditional Creole cuisine. Sip cocktails at sunset at the Oceanview Bar, before heading to the Hilltop Restaurant for live music and the catch of the day. Champagne breakfasts are also a real treat! During the day, we recommend lounging in style by the free form infinity pool, or paying a visit to the Duniye Spa for a range of treatments to leave you feeling even more fabulous.
Crafted with care and style, each villa at the Hilton Northolme is an experience in itself. The 15 private villas are all perched on stilts, either on the hillside of a tropical forest, or perched above the ocean. Each villa is simply enormous and comes with a private balcony, crisp white sun loungers, infinity pool, day bed and mesmerising views of the water. A modern blend of Seychellois architecture and funky decor rounds things off in style.
There's plenty to keep you entertained during your stay, from snorkelling and kayaking, glass-bottom boat cruises, Creole afternoon tea and even helicopter flights over the island. If that's not enough, hotel staff are able to arrange day outings to all of Mahe's attractions, including visits to the Victoria Botanical Gardens, hiking at the Sauzier Waterfall, surfing in Baie Lazare or visiting the giant tortoises of Moyenne Island. And after all that, you might well be in need of one of those spa treatments...
With its crystal clear water, sandy beaches and lush forests, Hilton Northolme gets full marks for location - you're a stone's throw from the Indian Ocean and mere seconds from the beach.
Known for its cannon-ball-like fruits and beautiful flowers, there are just two Cannonball trees on the entire island and the Hilton Northolme is home to one of them. Definitely get a good look at it before you leave.
Children must be 13 years and older to stay at the resort, so young families will need to look elsewhere.
