Kambaku @ Sea

Kambaku @ Sea is a classic with homely spaces to rest and recline including a library and lounge where you can tuck into a new book beside the fire. The casual restaurant serves a range of African-fusion dishes including hearty dinners accompanied by a selection of wines and champagne. You can also enjoy breakfast out on the sunny terrace with stunning views of the nature-bound setting. A short walk through the gardens will reveal a secluded swimming pool where you can while away the hours.

The hotel has just five suites, all well-styled, neat and decorated in muted colours and hand-selected pieces. The classic suites enjoy a garden view, while the premier suites face the pretty Swartvlei Estuary and Outeniqua mountains. In season, the whale watching, either by boat or from the shore, is magnificent. Knysna is also just a short drive away, making it ideal for a day out.
